Chris writes new adventures, inspired by the classics—filled with courage, wonder, and unforgettable characters—for today’s young readers. Nominated as a finalist in the Aurora Contest, he has been recognized as an up-and-coming name in speculative fiction.

In his nonfiction work, Chris leans on his years in local church leadership—including developing ministries for children, students, and their families—with the aim of encouraging leaders and families toward generational impact.

Chris’ book, “Primed to Lead,” was named a #1 New Release on Amazon in “Christian Leadership Books” and “Books for Christian Organizations.”

He also authored “The Family Framework,” a resource designed to encourage and equip parents with intentional discipleship habits as they lead in the home.

Additionally, Chris has contributed articles to xpastor.org, ministryjobs.com, and has been a guest teacher at various churches and ministries, as well as a guest on podcasts (Send Columbus, The Lifepoint Drivecast).

When he's not writing, Chris works with churches, church planters, and pastors. Chris previously served as the Family Ministries Pastor and then Campus Life Pastor at Lifepoint Church in north Columbus, OH. Outreach Magazine named Lifepoint as one of the 100 fastest growing churches in America, as well as one of the top 3 multi-generational multiplying churches in America.

Chris earned his B.A. in Bible and Theology/ Youth Ministry from Malone University, and he holds an M.A. in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Chris and his wife, Katie, live in Northeast Ohio and have the privilege of being parents to two fun, book-loving children. He's always grateful for a good cup of coffee, talking with friends around a bonfire, or a quiet walk through the woods. He is loyal Cleveland sports fan, enjoys all kinds of music, and loves reading anything J.R.R Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Tim Keller, D.A. Carson, or Terry Pluto.
